Sol de Mayo is an independent French design atelier founded by designer Monica Pigliacampo. Each light is designed and handmade by Monica in her atelier in Nancy, France, in small series or made to order.
Merino wool, raffia, leather cord and paper yarn are shaped by hand to create tactile, contemporary lights with a soft, atmospheric glow.
Created to bring warmth, texture and quiet character to interiors, each piece reflects Sol de Mayo’s approach to thoughtful design, craftsmanship and longevity.
The NONA merino wool lamp was selected by Studio Aisslinger for Hobo Hotel Helsinki, as part of its 2024 interior project.
