Die Playtime in Paris ist eine unserer Lieblingsmessen. Hier stellen nicht nur „alte“ Bekannte wie Imps & Elfs, Macaronso, Molo oder Paulina ihre Kollektionen für die jeweils nächste Saison vor, es gibt auch immer wieder tolle Labels zu entdecken. Die Messe ist ein wunderbarer Spielplatz für Mode, Interior, Spielzeug, Baby- und Maternitystyles.
Das Label Sol de Mayo zum Beispiel hat sich auf hochwertige Stricksachen spezialisiert. Die Gründerin Monica Pigliacampo stellte beim Kauf von Strickkleidern und Pullovern für ihre Tochter fest, dass viele davon chemische Fasern enthalten. Klar, Kinderkleider werden oft gewaschen und sollen Form und Farbe behalten. Doch damit wollte sich Monica Pigliacampo nicht abfinden. Also machte sie sich daran, Stricksachen aus natürlichem Garn zu kreieren, die auch nach vielen Wäschen noch gut aussehen.
Wie gut Monica Pigliacampo das gelungen ist, sieht man an ihren Kollektionen. „Kinder wollen bequeme Kleidung, aber das ist noch kein Grund darüber das Design zu vergessen“, erklärt sie. sol-mayo.com
